The Amazing Race kicked off its 38th season in an appropriate way, following the final eviction episode of Big Brother 27. That's because the new season of the CBS reality series is a full-fledged crossover, with a cast filled with former houseguests playing with a loved one. Who was eliminated in The Amazing Race 38 premiere tonight?

Enzo came onto the race with his brother Jack, ready to continue his streak of making the finales. But they came up against a hurdle when they finished last before the leg even started, earning a Hazard. While they easily downed the herring, it proved to be the clog bike that did them in. Between its cumbersome nature, as well as getting lost, it clogged any chance the two had of catching up. While they briefly saw the other teams in the back of the pack at the Roadblock, much like the daisies around them, they were picked to go first.
Jas and Jag Bains ran a near-perfect opening leg. After being gifted an Express Pass (see below), the two got out to an early lead stacking cheese and never relented. Along the way, they also brokered relationships with other teams, hoping those favors would pay off later. While they finished in first place, a fellow pair of brothers Tucker and Eric Des Lauriers finished in second. And taking up third was engaged couple Izzy Gleicher and Paige Seber, who jumped up from finishing second-to-last at the start of the leg.

Which teams finished at the bottom of The Amazing Race 38 premiere tonight?
While Jack and Enzo had a terrible day, the two teams above them didn't fare much better. Kat Dunn and Alex Romo because to break down (literally and figuratively) when Kat accidentally took a prop from a task, but they scraped together eleventh place.
For the first time in Amazing Race history, the teams did a task before the race even began! After landing in Amsterdam, they competed in a game of ten-pin bowling, with one partner as the pin. Kyland Young and Taylor Hale were the first team to get a strike, earning not only an Express Pass for themselves, but also one to give away. They chose to give it to Jas and Jag Bains at the starting line, prompting some disagreeing reactions from their castmates.On the other hand, Jack and Enzo Palumbo finished in last place. As a result, they were given a "Hazard," having to both consume a herring and ride a clog bike for the rest of the leg.
