With SEC play right around the corner, Alabama volleyball looks to build upon its 8-2 record from out-of-conference play. To that end, there are several notable players this season.
Victoria Barrett, outside hitter
Barrett is a graduate student who recently transferred from Towson University, where she won 2024 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year. Barrett has fit right into Alabama’s system, playing in all 10 games and starting in eight of them.
After Chaise Campbell graduated in 2024, Alabama needed to find someone to fill her role, and Barrett has done just that. She has achieved at least 30 total attacks in nine out of 10 games, as well as double digit kills in nine out of 10 games. She has also scored at least 10.5 points in every game this season.
Hannah Parant, setter
Parant is a redshirt freshman from Mountain Brook, Alabama, and has thrived in her first full season with the Crimson Tide, starting in all 10 games for the Crimson Tide.

Trinity Stranger, libero/defensive specialist
Just like Barrett, Stranger is a graduate student transfer. She came from Pepperdine after spending four seasons with the Waves.
Stranger has lived up to the hype as a defensive specialist. She has recorded at least 10 digs in each game this season, including a season high of 20 against Wake Forest on Sept. 10. Stranger has also helped the team with consistency, playing in every set so far this season, and has aided with the offensive chemistry, chipping in at least four assists in five games this season.
Sophie Agee, outside hitter
Agee is entering her second season with Alabama after transferring from Mississippi State. The senior has achieved consistent offensive numbers with Alabama, putting up at least 10.5 points in five games this season as well as 20 total attacks in at least seven games this season. Agee also has a .256 hitting percentage so far this season, an exact .100 jump from 2024.
