McDonald's fans and dessert lovers alike are on the hunt for affordable round-trip flights to Chicago after learning that a highly sought-after, previously international-only McFlurry flavor has reportedly landed stateside.
Unfortunately for anyone outside of the metro Chicago area, it's going to take a bit of planning to finally taste the presumed-to-be-beloved Biscoff McFlurry, which is said to be available at a single location of the fast food eatery: the storefront located within the brand's international headquarters.
Trusted foodfluencer Snackolator dropped the unexpected news on social media today, Sept. 23, noting that the location "now features a Biscoff McFlurry with Caramel Sauce that was recently sold in Belgium," which "features vanilla soft serve that is blended with Biscoff cookies and caramel sauce."
Parade has reached out to McDonald's for comment—unfortunately, it wouldn't be the first time we had our hopes dashed.

According to fans, the treat has been found beyond Belgium, with one noting they "tried it in london it was good."
"We just had this in Vienna!" someone else revealed excitedly.
"I had this in Kuwait & they called it the Lotus McFlurry. It was really good !!" another affirmed.
As Parade reported early last year, fans were riled up over the flavor's release in India, with many demanding an American transfer.
"This was great needs to be everywhere," others encouraged, with another declaring emphatically, "It should be available everywhere!"
For those still looking to try it, they could use a little help finding "Any cheap flights to Chicago!! ?," with one venting, "Tired of Chicago getting the best McDonald stuff lmao."
International exclusions are a frequent cause of frustration among fans of the fast-food joint, with many still itching to get their hands on "probably the best burger ever," the Big Arch Burger.
Meanwhile, an Irish adult Happy Meal that included a pint of Guinness had some stomachs turning sour, pointing out that the “worst thing anyone can do is mix alcohol” with a fast food meal.
If we learn anything more about the availability of the Biscoff McFlurry, you'll be the first to know.
