Former Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Lindsay Arnold is facing backlash after she called being a pro the "hardest [job] ever."
On TikTok Thursday, Sept. 18, the DWTS champion called out fans who trash the show and its cast.
“Y’all are mean. The amount of videos I’ve seen [that are] literally trashing the pros, the troupe, the hosts and judges,” Lindsay said. “It’s making me sick. I literally feel sick to my stomach. You understand that these are real people, right?”
“These are real people, who are doing a job that literally none of you could do,” she continued. “That’s what kills me, like ‘my hot take, I don’t think they did this good enough.’ Let’s see you do it. You couldn’t.”
Though Lindsay is no longer on DWTS, her younger sister Rylee Arnold is a professional dancer on the show and she's friends with many of the other pros currently competing.
"The job of being a pro is one of the hardest ever," she added. "All of you thinking that you have any idea what it takes to be a pro makes me want to laugh."

In the comment section, fans criticized Lindsay as they felt calling the pro job one of the "hardest ever" was insensitive.
"Lindsay Arnold needs ?? to ?? touch ?? grass ??," wrote one commenter. "The hardest job ever?? Give me a break..." said another.
"The job of being a pro is the hardest ever? I don’t disagree that it’s hard, but please come work a stretch of 12 hour shifts as an ER nurse during a full moon then get back to me," added a third. "Yikes. Good message but the tone here is just so condescending to the fans that keep this show going." said a fourth.
Others warned Lindsay that her controversial statements could hurt her sister Rylee and her celebrity partner, Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying in the competition.
"I hope she realizes that this post has rubbed some people the wrong way and that this may actually hinder the votes Rylee will receive," wrote one fan. "Also this doesn't help Rylee at all. They are all adults and are being treated as such. They can go to bat for themselves." commented another.

Despite the fan criticism, Rylee and a few other season 34 pros agreed with Lindsay's controversial statements.
“This,” Rylee wrote. "YES." added pro Witney Carson.
“Yes!!! Mic drop linds!!!!” commented pro Brandon Armstrong’s wife, Brylee Armstrong.
