Hot Dogs For Everyone, When Does Training Camp Start? One Month Away, and Other Bulls Bullets

I hope The Wiener’s Circle is ready to put their sesame buns where their mouth is.

Before the Chicago Bears kicked off this weekend, the long-time staple made a bet with fans online: If Caleb Williams threw four touchdowns, free hot dogs for everyone! The magical moment happened at the end of the third quarter when the second-year QB found a wide-open DJ Moore. Get those glizzy’s ready!

We’re still waiting for the details on how The Wiener’s Circle plans to meet the surely high demand, but I think we all know they’re good for it. Also, now that one second-year Chicago stud has secured us free eats, can Matas Buzelis follow in his footsteps!?

Perhaps Superdawg can make the offer this time around? Or how about some free Al’s Italian Beefs if Buzelis drops 30 on opening night? Billy Goat cheeseburgers if he posterizes Giannis Antetokounmpo in November? A pastrami from Manny’s for a four-block game!? A breaded streak from Ricobene’s after 10+ fourth-quarter points!? What about a Pat’s pie for the first double-double!?

    I’m not picky!

(Sidenote: There isn’t much I can flex about in life … but The Wiener’s Circle following me on Twitter is most certainly one)

HOT DOG TIME: Watch Caleb Williams Throw TD No. 4 vs. the Cowboys The calendar is getting busy. We are officially ONE MONTH away from the Chicago Bulls’ opening night matchup with the Detroit Pistons. Obviously, that means the team is on the brink of starting up training camp and holding their official Media Day. The latter is now officially scheduled for September 29 (aka next Monday). On-court work will commence one day later, on September 20, which is when the majority of the league will also begin training camp. With that said, we know that a handful of Chicago Bulls players have been back in the city for quite some time. A bulk of the roster actually attended the Bears’ home opener against the Vikings three weeks ago. We also know that many of the players spent time together in Miami last month for some voluntary workouts and team bonding. Nevertheless, while some extra chemistry building is always helpful, the most meaningful work begins when Billy Donovan blows the whistle next week. This young group has a lot to learn if they want to defy the underwhelming expectations this season. Shoutout to Spotrac’s Keith Smith for mapping out a lot of the upcoming key dates on the app formerly known as Twitter. While the Bulls will wait until next week to get things going, some teams will start camp as soon as Tuesday. The Knicks, 76ers, Suns, Nets, and Pelicans are all headed overseas for some exhibition play. The first preseason game is actually scheduled for next Thursday, when the Knicks and 76ers face off in Abu Dhabi.

Upcoming important NBA dates:?Sep 24: Camps open for BKN, NOP, NYK, PHI, PHX (all playing overseas in preseason)?Sep 30: Camps open for remainder of NBA?Oct 1: Final day for RFAs to sign Qualifying Offers unless team extends (J. Kuminga, Q. Grimes)?Oct 2: PHI-NYK first…

    — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) September 22, 2025 HoopsHype put together a list of the greatest international players of all time. While overseas accomplishments are factored in, NBA success served as the most important factor. The Chicago Bulls ended up surprisingly well represented. Six players in the Top 79 have suited up for the home team at the United Center: Pau Gasol (No. 6), Toni Kukoc (No. 23), Nikola Vucevic (No. 26), Joakim Noah (No. 27), Goran Dragic (No. 31), and Luol Deng (No. 34). For what it’s worth, yes, I was also surprised to see Vucevic edge out Noah. If only the Chicago Sky still had Kahleah Copper! CLUTCH.

    — ESPN (@espn) September 20, 2025 Just saying, the Bears haven’t lost since the BN Bears podcast officially became a thing. More info on that (and the fact that we’re looking for a comment section moderator) here! Michael updated us this morning on the status of Kyle Tucker and Daniel Palencia. Time is of the essence!
