This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick’s Southpoint, is Ryan Campbell.
Campbell is the Assistant Director of Affordable Housing and Community Connections for Chapel Hill. When Tropical Storm Chantal hit, the director of affordable housing was out of town so Campbell had a lot more thrust upon him than normal, but he didn’t miss a beat. Campbell worked hard to get displaced people catering and get them catering. He led the housing team through an impossible week, including working to figure out what can be done for people in flood prone areas so this doesn’t happen again.
