Bath & Body Works is debuting a sophisticated new scent profile that fans are excited to try, saying it “sounds exquisite” and revealing that the “packaging and scent notes alone have me.”
The new fragrance, Touch of Gold, was crafted alongside world-class perfumers at Symrise, a leading fragrance house behind some of the most recognizable and coveted scents globally. Bath & Body Works promises “a luxurious, radiant experience” from the scent, which will be available in 20 product forms across both home fragrance and personal care.
“I'm definitely trying. Sounds like it will smell ✨️expensive✨️,” wrote one enthusiastic fan ahead of the scent’s debut.

Bath & Body Works’ New Touch of Gold Fragrance Was Crafted by Scent Experts
The scent leans into trending fragrance profiles, with golden orange blossom, which lends a radiant warmth, and gilded blackberry, offering a liqueur-like ripeness for depth. Continuing its gourmand tradition, Bath & Body Works is adding the velvety sweetness of tonka to the scent to create a rich and timeless fragrance.
“Bath & Body Works has created a fragrance that feels completely now,” said Nathalie Benareau, senior perfumer at Symrise, in a statement shared with Parade. “With my background in niche and luxury perfumery, I can confidently say Bath & Body Works approaches fragrance with the same level of craftsmanship and sophistication found in prestige houses, and they continue to evolve. Touch of Gold is indulgent and empowering—with a radiance that brings an almost goddess-like energy when you wear it.”
