Gosh, I can’t believe there was a time when people believed that Ben Johnson was too introverted to lead a locker room. That guy is intense.
This has been quite the journey for Johnson, whose coaching career began in 2009 as a Boston College graduate assistant. Since then, he has climbed the coaching ranks with titles including offensive assistant, assistant quarterbacks coach, tight ends coach, assistant wide receivers coach, wide receivers coach, offensive quality control coach, passing game coordinator, and offensive coordinator before becoming the Bears’ head coach. Picking up victories in the NFL isn’t easy. I hope this is the first of many for Ben Johnson.
