Blink-182 made their mark in headlining Riot Fest this weekend — and not just by playing the hits.
In addition to jamming alongside the Descendents’ Stephen Egerton during their headlining set on Friday, September 19, the iconic punk-rock band also reunited with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba at Riot Fest 2025, NME reports.
Skiba, 49, served as a member of blink from 2015 to 2022 while Tom DeLonge was absent from the Grammy-nominated group.
The 20th anniversary of Riot Fest is happening this weekend in Chicago’s Douglass Park, with Green Day and Weezer headlining the other two days of the celebrated punk festival.
During their Friday show, blink was joined by Egerton, 61, for a cover of the Descendents' song "Hope," from their acclaimed debut album Milo Goes To College (1982).
But perhaps the bigger surprise Friday night was when Skiba, a former blink member, stepped onstage to perform a song alongside DeLonge, 49, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker. They played the hit song "Bored To Death," which was the first song the band released with Skiba as guitarist and co-vocalist.
