Chicago police were searching for two burglary suspects who broke into a Garrett Popcorn Shop early Sunday morning, authorities said.
The burglary was reported at approximately 3:57 a.m. at the store located along East 87th Street near South Cottage Grove Avenue in the Chatham neighborhood. Authorities said two suspects damaged the front glass door, entered the business and took an unknown number of items from inside.
The door was boarded up following the burglary, and the popcorn shop was reopen by Sunday afternoon.
No arrests had been made as of late Sunday.
Area detectives were investigation.
Anyone with information was asked to call Chicago police or submit an anonymous tip online.
