Usain Bolt couldn’t hold back his joy as Jamaica claimed a 1-2 in the 100m final at the World Athletics Championships.
Oblique Seville won the star-studded race with a personal best 9.77 seconds, beating his teammate Kishane Thompson.
The Jamaican pair finished ahead of reigning world and Olympic champion Noah Lyles, who took home bronze.
Jamaica had not won gold at the World Athletics Championships since 2015, when Bolt picked up the biggest prize.
A Jamaican had also not won a world title at all since Bolt in the 2016 Olympics, so it was a major moment for the country.
And their eight-time Olympic gold medallist was in the stands to watch his compatriots regain the medal for their country 10 years later.
Bolt could be seen watching on intently as the race began, leaning on his team inside the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo.
Then, as Seville and Thompson crossed the line, he burst into frantic celebration, roaring to the sky.
The result meant a lot to the Jamaican legend and that was very clear to see from his reaction to the result.

“The last time a Jamaican got the title was in 2016 and that was Usain Bolt.
“So I am really happy knowing that I actually got the gold medal and I have proved myself that I am a true competitor.
“I showed my resilience and my fight and determination.
“Everyone was saying in the first round that I am panicking.
“But I know what I am going through in that moment and I just brushed it aside and proved to myself that I am the champion.”

Earlier on at the World Athletics Championships, silver medal winner Thompson emulated Bolt prior to his semi-final.
He was filmed chatting to a volunteer on track, having a conversation with the youngster and giving him a fist bump.
Bolt did the same in a now-famous moment at London 2012.
The sprinting legend turned to a young volunteer when waiting to start his 200m heat at the Olympic Stadium.
It left the volunteer gleaming with joy and showed just how down-to-earth Bolt was as an athlete.
And Thompson showed that side of himself too, before going on to help make history for Jamaica in the 100m final.
