Star South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers left the game late in the second quarter against Vanderbilt on Saturday with an apparent injury.
Sellers took a shot to the head from Vanderbilt’s Langston Patterson on a first-down pass to tailback Rahsul Faison. He stayed down on the field and was eventually tended to by team trainers.

Sellers completed 6 of his 7 pass attempts for 94 yards with an interception before leaving the game. He was seen on the sideline shortly after, standing next to teammates without his helmet. He was then taken to the locker room early. It’s not immediately clear what his status is for the rest of the game.
The 6-foot-3 quarterback is in his second season as a full-time starter. He entered Saturday’s contest with 337 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air. Sellers had 209 yards in the season-opening win over Virginia Tech, but threw for just 128 yards on 11-of-19 passing last week against South Carolina State.
