Junior Nationals Diver Hayden Ferenc of the YMCA of South Florida has sent her verbal commitment to the University of Alabama for the fall of 2026.

Ferenc lives in Fort Lauderdale, where she attends Fort Lauderdale High School. Last year at the 3A high school state meet, she finished 4th overall in the women’s 1-meter with a score of 385.10.
Last year, we ranked her as the #10 women’s diving recruit in the class of 2026 because of her skill on the platform and her potential on the springboard events.
At the 2025 USA Diving Zone B Championships, she finished 3rd in the 16-18 category on the 1-meter, 8th on the 3-meter and 6th in platform to qualify for the USA Diving Junior Nationals meet.
At Juniors, she finished 26th in the 1-meter, 36th in the 3-meter and 7th in the platform event.
Alabama competes in the SEC, where they finished 6th last year. Their top diver was freshman Brooklyn O’Day, who scored 17 points in the diving events, all of which came from her 10th place finish on the platform.
The Crimson Tide had one other diver score at SECs in 2025, junior Ryleigh Rogers, who will have graduated by the time Ferenc arrives on campus. She scored 15.5 points after finishing 11th on the 3-meter.
She will join a recruiting class of Eva Whitehead, Ella Justice, Alyse Block, Ava Grazziani, Georgia Wimberly, Emma Bronson, and Addison Sala.
