The California Highway Patrol said a driver was killed after his vehicle was hit by a big rig early Saturday morning on Interstate 5 in Sacramento.
Around 7 a.m., a driver was on the side of northbound Interstate 5, north of Sutterville Road, due to a problem with their pick-up truck.
The CHP said a big rig then crashed into the pick-up, killing the driver of the truck.
The big rig driver was not injured.
