The 10th edition of the English Open enters the weekend with a host of big names set to feature in Brentwood.
The tournament is the fourth ranking event of the 2025/26 World Snooker Tour season, and the first of the Home Nations Series, which also includes the Northern Ireland Open, Scottish Open, and Welsh Open.
Though Ronnie O'Sullivan is absent, a star-studded cast, which includes 2024 winner Neil Robertson and World No. Judd Trump, will battle it out for the Steve Davis Trophy and a share of the £550,400 prize fund.
The seeded players will enter the fray in the third round on Tuesday but there is plenty of snooker to be played before then and the legendary Jimmy White is among those taking to the table on the opening day.
