MILWAUKEE — Two lacrosse players at Marquette University have died in a car crash on Friday night in Milwaukee, one of them a former player for the Rochester Jr. Knighthawks.
The Associated Press reports officials from the university confirmed 20-year-old Noah Synder and 19-year-old Scott Michaud died in the crash, and other lacrosse team members were taken to a hospital for their injuries.

On their social media accounts, the Rochester Knighthawks said Synder was an “outstanding lacrosse player,” and “incredible person.”

Milwaukee police said a 41-year-old driver collided with another vehicle that Synder, Michaud, and some of their other teammates were in. Police say Snyder and Michaud were pronounced dead at the scene.
In a Facebook post, the university said Synder and Michaud were named to the Big East All-men’s lacrosse team, calling them “strong students.”
The National Lacrosse League also posted about Snyder and Michaud’s death on their social media accounts, sending their condolences to their families.
