The former Culture Secretary, who stood down as an MP in 2023, told the Daily Mail she was joining Nigel Farage’s party a day before the start of its annual conference.
She said Conservative party members “now need to think the unthinkable and look to the future.”
“I am absolutely delighted to welcome Nadine Dorries to Reform UK,” Farage said.
“She is a hugely successful politician, author and columnist and will be a great boost to our campaign to win the next General Election.”
