The actress, 41, was spotted filming The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City when a tense moment between photographers prompted her to step in. In a video shared by People on Instagram, Hathaway can be seen addressing a group of paparazzi who had been bickering loudly near the set.
"You guys have got to relax," Hathaway said, keeping her voice even. "You guys have got to relax. There are children on set today. Does everyone know that there are children on set? So everyone is going to relax, and we're going to have a very nice day because we have children here. Thank you."

The Oscar winner then turned and carried on with filming with a smile “— a moment fans online were quick to applaud.
