Beirut, SANA – Director of the Consular Department at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Yaqoub Al-Omar, met on Monday in Beirut with Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri to address the file of Syrian detainees and missing persons in Lebanon.
Al-Omar, accompanied by a delegation from Syria’s Foreign Ministry, said in a post on X that the meeting also covered a range of bilateral matters.
He noted that both sides reaffirmed the importance of enhancing brotherly relations between Syria and Lebanon, based on mutual coordination and cooperation.
