Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari (Retired, lap 23) 5/10
It was a shame for Hamilton, who enjoyed a performance boost with Ferrari at Zandvoort. The seven-time World Champion proved this by qualifying just behind Leclerc on Saturday and stalking behind the Mercedes of Russell in the early part of the Grand Prix. Unfortunately he didn’t get much further, losing the rear of his SF-25 on the exit of Turn 3 and retiring from the race on the spot.
Charles Leclerc, Ferrari (Retired, lap 53) 6/10
A double DNF for Ferrari, their first since the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix. But in Leclerc’s case, it wasn’t his fault, rather a clumsy overtaking attempt by Antonelli as the Monegasque had just come out of the pits. Up until that point, Leclerc had run a frustrating, albeit aggressive race stuck behind Hadjar, unable to make a move anywhere along the narrow circuit. One to forget.
