A 14-year-old boy sustained injuries in a shooting on Sunday in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood, police said.
The incident was reported at around 5:04 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Christiana Avenue near West 15th Street. According to police, a 14-year-old boy was near the sidewalk when he was approached by an unknown suspect who produced a gun and fired shots.
The victim was listed in good condition at a local hospital.
