Occupied Jerusalem, SANA – Israeli occupation forces arrested nine Palestinians on Sunday during a series of raids targeting several areas in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Wafa News Agency, the arrests took place in Bethlehem, north of Hebron, and in the Am’ari refugee camp south of occupied Jerusalem. During the operations, occupation forces stormed homes and carried out widespread searches.
The agency added that Israeli forces also attacked Palestinians in Qalqilya and south of Nablus, firing live ammunition and hurling toxic gas bombs, leading to cases of suffocation.
Meanwhile, scores of settlers, escorted by Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and carried out provocative tours, further escalating tensions.
