IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — Saturday was the third annual Irondequoit Arts & Music Festival.
Presented by CLC Arts Events, the festival took place at Bakers Park at I-Square in Irondequoit, combining local art, music, food, and more.
According to event coordinator Craig Foster, seven bands were set to perform throughout the day, and they had over 35 local vendors there.
“We’re really just trying to build something that the community can come out and enjoy,” said Foster.
The festival was first put together by Foster and Chris Blaine, co-owner of the Art Center of Rochester, a couple years ago. The House of Guitars and I-Square also supported the event.
Foster expressed how much it means to them to be able to support local people.
“It really means everything for us to support local, for us to find original vendors, that are selling original artwork or crafts,” said Foster.
The event started at 11 a.m. Saturday and goes until 8 p.m. To learn more about the festival, click here.
