He pointed out that the first package of the “Dar al-Salam” project includes a number of vital projects, including “Homs Avenue” and “al-Nasr Park and Boulevard,”.
He stressed that these projects help meet housing needs, especially given that 13 neighborhoods in Homs suffered near-total destruction under the former regime, in addition to the devastation of many rural areas.

Al-Nasr Boulevard is one of the major initiatives within the framework of Homs’ reconstruction efforts, focusing on the areas of Al-Masabigh, Souk Al-Hal, and the Central Park (Victory Park), aiming to transform these zones into a modern and sustainable environment serving the city’s residents.
The project aims to address the housing crisis caused by the return of displaced persons, providing suitable housing units for low-income groups and families of martyrs, improving severely damaged infrastructure, and allocating an urban breathing space of over 350,000 square meters. It includes the construction of approximately 4,500 modern housing units to meet the needs of various social segments.
The works also include the construction of a new Souk al-Hal and the development of commercial and investment facilities tailored to the needs of residents, merchants, and visitors. Additionally, extensive improvements will be made to water, electricity, gas, and sewage networks, as well as main roads, with urban designs that reflect the architectural identity of Homs.
Avenue Homs… A Project to Support the Most Affected Groups
The Avenue Homs project spans approximately 270,000 square meters in the Karm al-Shami area north of Homs. It is characterized by its charitable and non-profit nature, with its revenues dedicated to supporting the most affected in Syrian society.
The project aims to develop the site into a multi-use area that includes residential, commercial, administrative, and service facilities, supporting the city’s economic and social development. It is based on a social model that allocates revenues to assist affected groups, reflecting a commitment to the principle of Arab Syrian social solidarity.
The project enjoys a strategic central location, adjacent to Homs University and near the city center and upscale residential neighborhoods, making it well-positioned to become a comprehensive service, commercial, and residential hub.
