A day after Michael Longfellow announced he wouldn't be returning for Season 51 of the hit comedy show, longtime SNL staple Heidi Gardner similarly announced she'll ending her tenure on the show after eight seasons.
With Longfellow and Gardner's exit, Saturday Night Live has officially lost four of its repertory players from Season 50, with Devon Walker and Emil Wakim also confirming their exit ahead of Season 51.

With the more recent news of Michael Longfellow's departure, Johnson again expressed her shock over social media, likening the cast exodus to the 2006 crime film, The Departed.
Johnson commented, "WTF is happening… This is like the departed… My sexy handsome work husband… I love you so much…I’ll call you… Welcome back outside baby…. I’ll see you out here soon."
Continuing to voice her outrage over the SNL shakeup, Johnson again took to Instagram to espouse about her former co-star Heidi Gardner's surprise exit as well.
"Ahhhhhh Lawd not my Heidi," Johnson wrote on Instagram. "This probly the biggest surprise of this 'shake up.' Heidi you are my shining star… You had a great run and I admire everything about you. CONGRATULATIONS HEIDI… YOU ARE AN SNL LEGEND FOR LIFE… See you outside."
