A homicide investigation was underway in Adams County early Thursday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office first posted about the homicide near East 88th Avenue and Welby Road in the Chaparral Village community at 4:36 a.m. Thursday.
Sheriff’s officials said Welby was closed between 86th and 88th avenues for the investigation. It’s unclear when that road will reopen.
No information about the victim — including age, gender or cause of death — was immediately available on Thursday.
