Remember Madonna’s leading man in Who’s That Girl? Well, he’s still got it.
Griffin Dunne, who starred alongside the pop star in the 1987 comedy, just made a stylish red carpet appearance in New York City — and fans are loving the nostalgic throwback.
The actor, now 70, was recently spotted at the Honey Don’t! premiere in New York, wearing a beige linen suit paired with sleek black-framed glasses.
Looking confident, he posed for cameras with his hands in his pockets, exuding the same laid-back charm that helped define his early Hollywood roles.

Dunne played the charming Loudon Trott, a straight-edged lawyer who gets caught up in the wild adventures of Madonna’s character, Nikki Finn — a street-smart woman wrongfully imprisoned for her boyfriend’s murder.
The film, though not a box-office hit, became a cult favorite for Madonna fans and ‘80s movie lovers alike.
Speaking to Closer Weekly, Dunne reflected on working with the Queen of Pop at the height of her fame. “It was really fun. She was hilarious and we had a lot of laughs,” he recalled.
He also described the media frenzy that followed them during filming. "There were helicopters. Whenever we shot outside, they were hovering over us like we were O.J. Simpson in the Bronco.”
As for Madonna, Dunne said she handled the constant attention like a seasoned pro. "She just took it all in stride. Most people, myself included, would have had a nervous breakdown."
Before working with Madonna, Dunne got his big break in the 1981 cult classic An American Werewolf in London, a horror-comedy that became a surprising hit.
"It was the unexpected opportunity to be cast in [1981 ’s] An American Werewolf in London. I was quite inexperienced," he reminisced. "I’d done some theater, maybe a small part in a movie … Suddenly I went from very tiny parts to co-star and shooting in London and flying over on the Concorde.”
That role opened many doors, and Dunne quickly became a familiar face in Hollywood. His diverse film credits include My Girl, Dallas Buyers Club, Ocean’s Eight and After Hours, a MartinScorsese-directed dark comedy that earned critical acclaim.
Beyond the big screen, many fans recognize him from his beloved five-season role as Nicky Pearson on NBC’s hit drama This Is Us, where he played the long-lost brother of Jack Pearson.
