AsParade reported, many soap stars mourned the loss of Rogers and paid tribute to him, including his General Hospital leading ladies. Now one of his Y&R leading ladies has broken her silence on his passing, too.
Jess Walton (Jill) shared a video on the official The Young and the Restless Instagram page to pay tribute to Rogers.
“Tristan Rogers was a respected member of the soap opera community. And he was a beloved member of the Young and the Restless family. And I had the pleasure of being his scene partner for many years. I adored working with him,” she expressed.
Then, fans were given a classic clip of Colin and Jill from 2014. It was not only an emotional scene, but also one of their best.
The caption on the Instagram share revealed that Y&R fans will get to see Rogers as Colin one last time. On Tuesday, Aug. 26, Colin and Rogers return for their final episode.

This comes as Cane (Billy Flynn) has returned to the canvas, and after Cane told everyone that his father, Colin, had died.
Tristan Rogers Left a Huge Hole In the Soap World
Having spent more than 40 years in the daytime industry, Rogers definitely left his mark. General Hospital fans continue to show their love and appreciation for him.
Rogers’ on-screen daughter, Kimberly McCullough (Robin), spoke out with a throwback photo of the two of them together. Anthony Geary (Luke) released a statement on the passing of his friend, as did Kin Shriner (Scott).
The three of them were thick as thieves during the General Hospital heyday of Luke, Laura (Genie Francis), Scott, Holly (Emma Samms) and Anna (Finola Hughes).
It’s a treat for fans to see Rogers as Colin on Y&R one last time. After all, GH fans got a final Robert moment last month, and now it’s The Young and the Restless’ turn.
