It's been just over one month since the passing of the iconic Black Sabbath front man, Ozzy Osbourne, and still the world continues to mourn the loss of the late music legend.
Blazing a trail for contemporary heavy metal and punk rock from the late '60s onwards, Osbourne left behind a gaping hole within the larger music industry, with many lamenting the loss of the controversial Prince of Darkness.
But if one musician has the chance of living up to Osbourne's larger-than-life legacy, it's the up-and-coming singer-songwriter Yungblud.
The 28-year-old artist behind 21st Century Liability, Weird!, Yungblud and Idols, Yungblud has since become one of the most talked-about musicians of the current decade, with Ozzy Osbourne himself an outspoken fan of his work.
In addition to his close personal friendship with Black Sabbath's famed musician, Yungblud also performed at Ozzy's last concert on July 5 in Birmingham, roughly two weeks before Osbourne's death as a result of cardiac arrest and an acute heart attack.
While Yungblud has made his respect and appreciation for Ozzy well-known following the iconic musician's death, the young singer has recently delivered another moving tribute to his friend this past weekend.
According to concert goers in attendance of Yungblud's performance, the 28-year-old musician handed in a remarkably emotional rendition of Black Sabbath's "Changes" to kick off night one of his U.S. concert tour.
Before performing the song, Yungblud led another personal tribute to the Black Sabbath star, calling out to the crowd, "Could we have a moment right now for Mr. Ozzy f***ing Osbourne?"
"And can we make a vow that his legacy will never f***ing die?" Yungblud continued, to the utter jubilation of the crowd. "Because that motherf***er saved my life so many times, I can't even f***ing count."
At one point during the song, the musician had to even take several short pauses to fight back tears, with the crowd in attendance loudly voicing their support for both Yungblud and his deceased mentor.
