The iconic restaurant chain is probably best known for its drive-thru and Ocean Water beverage, but recently, its menu talking points for consumers have expanded as the company entices even larger crowds with its revived dollar menu, new Sweet Topped Lemonades, discounted chicken wraps, and now, two new budget-friendly treats.
Ahead of the official kick-off to autumn and fall flavors, Sonic is easing into the sweet, cozy vibes with a new Salted Caramel collection that features a signature coffee and a sweet and savory bite-sized snack.
What's on Sonic's New Salted Caramel Menu?
This fall, Sonic is serving up an all-new Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee and Salted Caramel Croissant Bites.
"Fall flavors don’t have to mean pumpkin spice on repeat. With the new Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee and Salted Caramel Croissant Bites, SONIC is stepping in to give pumpkins a much-needed break, all while giving guests something just as craveable,” Barb Williams, VP of category management at SONIC, shared in an Aug. 25 statement. “Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee is the perfect sweet and creamy pick-me-up. And when paired with Croissant Bites, it’s the ultimate fall duo for guests who want their daily boost with a side of indulgence.”
According to the brand, its new iced coffee takes "smooth" cold brew and raises it up a notch with flavors of "rich salted caramel and buttery toffee" before it's poured over Sonic's signature nugget ice and topped with creamy cold foam and a sprinkle of salted toffee pieces. Prices start at $2.99 for a 20-ounce size.
Its new Salted Caramel Croissant Bites are "flaky, golden pastries" dusted with caramel sugar. A four-piece starts at $1.99.

Sonic's Salted Caramel Menu Official Release Date
The new food and drink menu will hit the app first as an online exclusive starting on Aug. 25. Both menu items will then launch nationwide a few days later, debuting in stores beginning on Monday, Sept. 1.
Sonic's Salted Caramel Collection isn't a permanent addition, so if you're interested in trying it out, pay attention to the following timeline: The signature coffee will be available through October, while the croissant bites will be available for the rest of the year.
