DENVER (KDVR) — Northglenn police say two people are on the loose after a late-night shooting at a restaurant.
Officers just after 10 p.m. Sunday night responded to the Tamale Kitchen near 104th Avenue and Huron Street for reports of a gunshot wound, according to a Northglenn Police Department X post.
A police spokesperson said a person was walking out of the business and was shot. The person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, and a spokesperson on Monday morning confirmed the person was still alive.
"Two suspects fled the scene, and Northglenn officers, along with officers from surrounding agencies, are actively searching the area," police said in the X post, and the spokesperson Monday confirmed the two are still on the loose.
"At this time we do not believe there is an active threat to the public," police said Sunday night.
