Damascus, SANA- The Higher Committee of People’s Assembly Elections formed Sunday appeals sub-committees in governorates where elections will be held, with the aim of organizing work and ensuring transparency.
The committee said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel “The formation of these committees was based on Presidential Decree No. 66 and the provisions of People’s Assembly elections temporary system”.
On Saturday, the Higher Committee asked Bar Association to appoint a lawyer for each electoral constituencies as a legal observer.
