Damascus, SANA- Higher Committee for People’s Assembly Elections asked the Bar Association to delegate lawyers for legal observation of the elections as part of efforts to enhance transparency and ensure the integrity of legal procedures during the electoral process.
On its official Telegram channel, the committee said in in a statement that it requested from the Bar Syndicate to delegate one lawyer for each of the 60 electoral constituencies across the various governorates, according to the number of seats allocated to each governorate.
It added that this measure comes in line with the requirements of the public interest and the keenness to implement the legal principles adopted in the elections to provide the necessary support and legal advice.
