The Beach Boys have an exciting announcement for their fans.

This Thursday, Stamos and The Beach Boys will perform at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, WA, followed by a show at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, MT on Friday, the Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights, WA next Saturday, and the Oregon State Fair on September 1. The Beach Boys are also scheduled to take the stage at Riot Fest in Chicago on September 20, the festival’s second day.

The Beach Boys, an American rock band formed in 1961 from Hawthorne, Calif., originally featured brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, along with Love and Al Jardine. Today, the touring band is led by Love and Bruce Johnston, who joined the group in 1965.

In a 2021 interview on The Howard Stern Show, Stamos revealed that he grew up admiring The Beach Boys, and he was invited backstage due to his previous acquaintance with the guitar player in the early 1980s. The group has shared a close friendship with the 62-year-old actor for more than four decades now. Best known for his role as Uncle Jesse on the American sitcom Full House, Stamos first joined the band on stage in the mid-1980s as a drummer. Since then, he’s become almost like an honorary band member, popping up occasionally at tours and special events.

The Beach Boys even appeared in an episode of Full House back in 1988. In the episode "Beach Boy Bingo," DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) wins two tickets to meet the Beach Boys, but the entire Tanner Family wants to go with her.

Following their cameo on Full House, Stamos has continued to perform with them. In August 2022, the actor performed with the band during their "Sixty Years of the Sounds of Summer" concert, where Stamos paid tribute to the late actor and former co-star Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on Full House.

Fans can purchase tickets for The Beach Boys' upcoming shows on their official website. They’re scheduled to play the Alaska State Fairgrounds on Monday without Stamos, but he’ll rejoin them on Thursday at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery.
