ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 34-year-old woman is facing charges after being accused of attacking a 75-year-old man in the parking lot of a store on Culver Road on Aug. 17.

Crista Spampinato shared surveillance video with News10NBC, where she says her father, James Spampinato, was shoved to the ground, leading to a broken hip, fractured neck, and even needing surgery.
According to Rochester Police, Toni Palermo was taken into custody Friday night and brought to the Monroe County Jail. She is charged with assault in the second degree.
On Saturday morning, Palermo was arraigned, entered a not guilty plea, and released on non-monetary conditions. She is scheduled to appear in court again in September.
