JOY-ANNA Duggar has turned a blind eye towards her family’s strict modesty rules as she showed off her new underwear collection.
The Counting On alum is known to regularly shy away from her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle‘s stern guidelines, though fans are still surprised every time she breaks the rules.
The latest instance happened earlier this week when she posted a snap on her Instagram Stories of her underwear haul.
Joy-Anna captured four pairs of colorful panties laid out on her bed, praising their comfort and “no show” lines.
“Just got these no show underwear and they are 10/10! also love the little edging detail,” the former reality TV star wrote on top of the image.
She also included a link to the store for her followers to shop.
DUGGAR REBEL
The photo made its way onto a popular online forum where critics bashed the mother of three for her un-Christian-like behavior.
“So much for modesty! I can’t imagine posting pictures of my underwear on the Internet,” the user captioned the post.
“I guess conservative values go out the window when money is in the picture,” someone commented.
“Money is prioritized over everything else with these people,” another echoed.
“Eh, she’s making money off it, meaning that her folks are A-OK with it,” a third remarked.
Joy-Anna’s social media is a mix of her showing off her favorite clothing finds, and updates on life with her husband Austin Forsyth and their three kids: Gideon, Evelyn, and Gunner.
In October, the 19 Kids and Counting alum got emotional while recalling her postpartum depression battle on top of her family struggles during an appearance on The Unplanned Podcast.
She explained that while she’d experienced postpartum following the stillbirth of her daughter Annabelle in 2019, it was much worse following the birth of her youngest son.
Joy-Anna reasoned that her more extreme baby blues were due to her not taking proper care of herself throughout her pregnancy.
The ex-TV personality then revealed that talking to a counselor helped her get through the down times and praised her husband for encouraging her to seek help.
