Emily in Paris is officially coming back for season 5, and it was announced on Wednesday, August 20, that the new batch of episodes will be released on Netflix on December 18.

Season 5 is set to see longtime characters Emily (Lily Collins), Mindy (Ashley Park), Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), Julien (Samuel Arnold), Luc (Bruno Gouery), Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Antoine (William Abadie), Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), Genevieve (Thalia Besson), Nico (Paul Forman), Laurent G (Arnaud Binard) and Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) return. Meanwhile, the season will also introduce new characters Princess Jane (Minnie Driver), Jake (Bryan Greenberg) and Yvette (Michèle Laroque).
The series debuted on Netflix in 2020 and follows Emily as she navigates her new life in France after she moved from the United States. Season 4 ended with Emily moving to Italy and seemingly pursuing a relationship with Marcello.

While the new season will include many familiar faces, fans won't get to see original starCamille Razat after she announced her exit from the show at the end of season 4. "After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris,” Razat, who starred on the show as Camille, wrote in an Instagram post on April 23. "It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories."
