GREECE, N.Y. — A woman is facing charges after police say she stole a victim’s wallet while they were hospitalized.
Officers say Kristi Stewart, 60, stole the victim’s wallet from their room at an assisted care facility while the victim was in the hospital last September. That facility is on Long Pond Boulevard in Greece. Officers say Stewart then spent money on the victim’s card at a store on Lyell Avenue and at an ATM.
