Two jersey patches are also featured, including a golden NBA logo patch said to be from Jordan’s illustrious 1996-97 season.
With Bryant’s tragic passing in 2020, the card will forever hold its one-of-a-kind status, which is undoubtedly why the price tag has reached new heights. The current private bid is in at $5.1 million, which puts the total price at roughly $6.2 million when factoring in the Buyer’s Premium. Pssh, that’s chump change!
This astronomical price officially makes this Jordan-Kobe card the most expensive ever. According to Vaulted, a 2009-10 National Treasures Stephen Curry Rookie Logoman Autograph has held the record up until this point with a $5.9 million sale price. A rookie LeBron James autograph card ranks behind that at $5.2 million.
