Rocky Mountain National Park rangers rescued an injured climber who fell while scaling one of the national park’s mountains Sunday morning.
The climber fell from the south face of Petit Grepon in Rocky Mountain National Park, injuring his lower leg, according to a news release from the park service.
Park officials said the man was roped into the mountain, which kept him from falling to the ground. With the help of his partner, the unidentified man was able to rappel to the base of the climbing route, where a team of park rangers had assembled to provide medical care.
