WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y. — The 27th annual Macedonian Festival kicked off Friday night at St. Dimitria Macedonian Orthodox Church.
The cultural celebration features live music, dancing and lots of food options. News10NBC was at the church grounds in West Henrietta for the opening night.
“The biggest day is tomorrow — Saturday. Sometimes the lines set around the tents because the food is delicious, the pastries downstairs are delicious, which you will have a chance to taste,” Demitriow said.
The festival starts at noon both Saturday and Sunday. It runs until midnight Saturday and 8 p.m. Sunday.
