ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Four months after losing his son and nephew in a motorcycle crash, Glen Sutton honored their memory by helping students in need.
Sunday afternoon, Sutton gave away school supplies and food to students and families on Lake Avenue, near the site of the tragic accident.
“We lost my son and my nephew to a tragic motorcycle accident here on Lake Avenue, April 13th of this year,” said Sutton.
He said it was important to keep their memories alive while supporting the community.
“We thought that to do a good deed for them because that’s what they would want. And this is what we’re doing, everything is free. Everything. Food. Book bags. Pencils. Pens. Crayons. Notebooks. Everything, free,” said Sutton.
Sutton’s son and nephew were just 19 and 20 years old when they died. He hopes to continue this school supply drive every year.
