Futures qualifier Mia Jeltema will head just over six hours southwest to Athens to join the women’s team at the University of Georgia. The Cary, N.C., native trains with the TAC Titans and attended Green Hope High School.

I am so thankful and grateful for my supportive parents, my amazing friends and teammates, and my dedicated coaches for being here for me every step of the way. Jeltema finished 4th in the 100 breaststroke at the NCHSAA 4A State Championships (1:02.42). She turned in a 7th-place finish in the 200 IM (2:04.13).
At the Futures Championships in Greensboro (LCM), Jeltema finished 16th in the 100 breast (1:14.35) and 24th in the 400 IM (5:04.73).

Mia Jeltema’s Best SCY Times:
100 Breast- 1:01.96 200 Breast- 2:13.65 200 IM- 2:01.88 400 IM- 4:19.76Georgia’s women’s team placed fourth among 13 teams at the 2025 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships.
Jeltema’s best times would have tied for 36th in the 100 breast, 28th in the 200 breast, and 45th in the 200 IM at those championships.
Jeltema joins Marin Clem, Clarke Neace, Maeve Eckerman, Hayden Hollingsworth, Hailey Dopson, Kylie McMurray, Kennedi Dobson, Elizabeth Nawrocki, and Izzy Beau in the Bulldogs’ incoming class for 2025.
