(KRON) – A staple Santa Cruz hamburger joint will flip its last burger on Sunday.
Betty’s Burgers has announced the closure of its downtown Santa Cruz location after 15 years of being in business on its Facebook.
The eatery says it was a “tough call,” but due to slower foot traffic and fewer visitors, Betty’s says it's been “harder to thrive.” The restaurant also said the city’s "downtown environment" was another reason for closure.
