Rangers at Rocky Mountain National Park found a body they believe to be a missing Nebraska man Wednesday near Emerald Lake.
Family members reported Blake Kieckhafer, a 23-year-old Omaha man, missing on Monday. The last time anyone saw him was around 5:20 p.m. Aug. 7, when a ride-share service dropped him off in the Upper Beaver Meadows area of the park.
The Larimer County Coroner’s office hasn’t confirmed the remains are Kieckhafer’s, but the park sent a news release about the tentative identification.
