(KRON) -- Fire investigators believe a Tuesday night blaze at a vacant building in Antioch that severely damaged its roof was intentionally set, said the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
Fremont fatal collision victim, 76, struck twice: PDContra Costa County Fire said crews encountered "heavy fire conditions" when they arrived at the scene with dense smoke pouring out of the building, which was previously a tire store.
"The building suffered partial collapse, and crews remained in defensive mode until the fire was knocked down approximately 70 minutes after arrival," said fire officials.
