Myles Garrett cited for driving 100 MPH, per report

Myles Garrett is a leader on a Cleveland Browns team that is trying to turn things around in the extremely difficult AFC North.

#Browns Myles Garrett cited at 2:01 a.m. Saturday for going 100 mph in a 60 mph zone in Strongsville after the team landed from Charlotte. He had vowed to slow down after flipping his Porsche. The team is aware.

The reported incident happened on Saturday morning after 2 a.m. local time. Garrett was ticketed for the incident, per the report from Mary Kay Cabot.

This isn’t the first time that Garrett has been involved in a driving situation, as there were at least 7 other instances early in his career where he was reportedly speeding. In one of those incidents, he was going 120 MPH on the same interstate.

Garrett committed to the Browns this offseason through the 2030 season, and the team is counting upon him to be the guy he has been over his career.

It’s unclear if Brown will face any internal discipline for this incident. The Browns will play their first regular season game of the 2025 campaign on Sept. 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
