OXNARD, Calif. (KEYT) A local surf shop has an honest customer to thank.
Anacapa Surf N Sport in Oxnard Shores shared a story on social media about a customer who was undercharged.
The customers named Aric is an L.A. firefighter, and dad, who came back to the store to say he owed Anacapa Surf more money.
"We had undercharged him $100 and the next day-- he bought one of these rash guards-- and the next day he came in and said hey, you guys undercharged me $100 so I came to pay it," said Anacapa Surf owner Laurie Weiner, "I was like 'oh my gosh' that is so honest because we never see those kind of stories."
Weiner owns the shop with her husband Robert of Roberts Surfboard fame.
He works in the shop on Saturdays and customers often stop by to see him.
