(KRON) – A fatal physical assault led to an arrest, according to the San Jose Police Department.
At approximately 9:04 p.m. on Sunday, San Jose authorities responded to the 100 block of Danze Drive after an individual informed police that they found their housemate had been killed in the residence.
Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious man suffering multiple injuries that police said were “consistent with being physically assaulted.”

A suspect who police said would be identified at a later date was apprehended at the scene.
The fatal assault was the city’s 18th homicide of the year.
