A boil order that could last up to two days has been issued for several parts of suburban Schaumburg including a popular attraction after an emergency watermain break forced street closures and a water shutdown as crews worked overnight on repairs.
According to the Village of Schaumburg, the watermain break was impacting properties in more than a dozen locations throughout the village, including at Medieval Times.
While water was restored in the 4 a.m. hour, a boil order was in effect for at least the next 24 hours for the following locations, the village said: Medieval Times; Crestwood Ct; Kristin Dr; Willow Brook Ct; Sleepy Hollow Ct; Eastwood Ct; Idle Wild Ct; 1 to 55 Commerce Dr; 1901 Roselle Rd; Wilkening Ct; White Oak Ln; Amada Ct; Amanda Ln; Arbor Glen Blvd; White Oak Ct; Center Ct; Central Rd
According to the Village, the boil order could last as long as 36 hours.
It wasn’t immediately clear if shows at Medieval were impacted. The attraction’s calendar showed no show scheduled for Monday, Aug. 11, with the next show scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12.
Medieval Times did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago’s request for comment.
